8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Class

The Summer session of the 8-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) class begins on Tuesday evenings,  June 9- July 28, 2015  from 6:00-8:30 pm, and includes an all-day retreat July 18.    

Learn Mindfulness, a way of relating directly to the events in your life, of consciously and systematically working through challenging experiences. Develop healthy and positive approaches to handling stressful events, whether they are physical or emotional. By enrolling, you will:

  • Cope more effectively with short and long-term stresses
  • Increase your ability to relax
  • Achieve lasting decreases in your physical and psychological symptoms
  • Reduce pain levels and enhance your ability to cope with pain that may not go away
  • Develop healthy ways to deal with chronic issues
