On Saturday, June 6 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, Rochester Soccer Club (RSC) is expecting over 2000 people to participate in the very first club-wide family celebration to kick off the new RSC Field Complex at 3200 Dutton Road in Auburn Hills. Guests will enjoy a day filled with soccer and other activities such as Knockerball, soccer juggling competitions, inflatable bounce houses, soccer-inspired obstacle courses, balloon creations, Henna and face-painting, raffles, silent auctions and more!
The crowning event will be the Ball Drop at 2:00 pm. Ten cash prizes will be awarded, and the Grand Prize will be $2500!
Local businesses are invited to support RSC by becoming “Lightning Champions” and/or donating to the silent auctions and raffles. Proceeds from this celebration will benefit RSC and will be used toward the construction and maintenance of the new soccer field complex.
What is a Lightning Champion? With a donation of $250, in addition to earning TEN chances to win one (or more) of the ten cash prizes in the Ball Drop, your business name will also be listed on a banner which will be prominently displayed during the Grand Opening Celebration and throughout the summer and fall soccer seasons. What is the Ball Drop? A group of numbered balls will be dropped from high above the New RSC Soccer Fields. Each time anyone donates $25 to RSC, they will be assigned a number that corresponds to one of the balls. Cash prizes will be awarded for the balls that stop closest to the target. You need not be present to win.
Can I support RSC in other ways? Absolutely! RSC appreciates any and all monetary and “in-kind” donations. Our event will feature a silent auction and raffle, so if you would like to donate items to be auctioned or raffled, please let us know.
Rochester Soccer Club is a 501(c)3 organization (Tax ID 38-2413604), and all donations are tax-deductible to the extent of the law.
