The Artist's Apprentice - Kids PAINTING Camp
"I Love to Paint!’’ Have you ever heard your child express this sentiment? Give them a treat this summer, enroll in this fun camp where all we do is paint! Young artists will be learning about all different kinds of painting, ranging in styles from realism, impressionism & cubism, to various painting techniques from around the globe, including Chinese painting on rice paper and cave painting on plaster of Paris. We will be trying out pendulum painting and also going outside to throw paint in the manner of Jackson Pollock!
Family & friends are invited to a Gallery Show following class on the last day. Projects will vary according to individual ability. Ages 6 - 13. No experience necessary!
Please pack a peanut free lunch every day and wear old clothes, we will get messy!
