PHONE AND TELETHERAPY OPTIONS AVAILABLE We are a counseling private practice conveniently located right near the corner of Rochester and Avon Roads. We provide individual therapy, couples counseling, and group therapy. Our therapists are licensed through the state of Michigan and have certifications in addictions, trauma and emotion focused couples therapy. We see clients ages 6 and up through adulthood on a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, trauma, grief and loss, school difficulties, career counseling and many others. We are paneled with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, Beacon Health Options, Molina Medicaid, McLaren Medicaid, United Behavioral Health, and United Healthcare. For those without insurance coverage, we have very affordable self-pay options.

Hello! I am Dr. Rebecca S. Trouse, a double board-certified, licensed professional counselor and owner of Aspects Counseling, located in the heart of beautiful Downtown Rochester, MI. I specialize in relationships and grief/loss and help adult individuals and couples successfully navigate life’s challenges.


In addition to professional counseling, I provide life coaching.

 

James Blundo is the current President of the Michigan Mental Health Counselors Association (MMHCA). His past employment includes teacher, school counselor, outpatient psychiatric therapist, substance abuse clinical director and therapist.

For the past 35 years, Jim has owned a private practice counseling clinic. He devotes his time to his practice, to the community, and as an advocate for Michigan’s counseling profession.

He is an Ambassador for the Rochester Chamber of Commerce.

I am in the process of opening five salons called The Lash Lounge.  The Lash Lounge is a franchise that focuses on eyelash extensions, brow extensions, threading/tinting and permanent makeup/ microblading.   Prior to investing in The Lash Lounge franchise I spent  25 years working in corporate America primarily focused in the Technology Information Services industry both as an employee and owner.  During my career, I have held various positions in a wide range of disciplines including software engineer, direct sales, sales management, director of operations and President and so bring a unique perspective as a result of this breadth of experience. I have worked with various financial institutions from Banks to Private Equity firms with the goal of growing a partnership that supports the strategic direction of my company as well as my partner(s).

Hi there!  I grew up in Oakland Twp and went to Adams Highschool, I have lived here all my life. My kids went to Stoney Creek.  I love it here.   My first job at Dr Walt Kubinski was in the building right next to Front Door Medspa!!!   I am a U of M grad and U of D for my medical masters degree, my MBA was later in life after I had already been running companies.  I love business and people so much.  It is no longer about money for me, but rather to make people happy and create jobs and security for employees.   I garden 2 1/2 acres of perennials, have a pond, a dog, a cat and 2 sons.  I have kayaked in Lake Superior and for me that was an adventure.  I love to ride my bike and be in nature. 

I'm Marie Demres, married, with 3 grown sons. I like to bike, hike, read, write and socialize.
I'm a certified life coach and brainspotter, working with people with trauma, depression and anxiety.  Yoga instruction on YouTube and in person is also one of my interests and I have an RYT200 certification. With over 35 years in dentistry—including extensive experience in leadership, analytics, and patient relations—Carrie Carney oversees daily operations at All Smiles Family Dental in Rochester Hills. She works closely with Dr. Preeti Dhillon and the team to ensure every patient feels cared for “from their first tooth to their senior smiles.” Carrie combines compassion with data-driven systems, using statistics to track patient trends, efficiency, and growth while maintaining the warm, community-focused values that make All Smiles Family Dental a trusted name in Rochester.

Nichole is the heart behind Our Place The Salon — a quiet, one-on-one space she created after years of experiencing the rushed, chaotic salon world from both sides of the chair. She began her career in 2005 at an Aveda salon in downtown Rochester and later spent 15 years in corporate life, which shaped her warm, thoughtful approach to guest care.

Deeply connected to the Rochester community, Nichole is also studying art and psychology at Oakland University, passions that influence how she understands beauty, people, and well-being.

Those who know her will tell you she loves to laugh and happily sings and dances along to her favorite ’90s and Y2K songs — with lots of heart and very little skill. When she’s not in the salon, she’s at home with her husband, Juice, and their pets Omar, Avon, and Bubbles.

I am a graduate of Bastyr University, the world's leading academic center for natural health arts and sciences. I am a licensed naturopathic physician and ran a clinic in Washington State prior to moving back to Michigan. I learned about naturopathic medicine after being told by multiple specialists that I would be on lifetime medication that would considerably limit my functionality. By making changes to diet, lifestyle and perspective, I was able to reverse the systemic lupus diagnosis and no longer experience arthritic pain.
