Dr. Krystina Khalil Now Seeing Surgical Dermatology Patients in Rochester Hills and Shelby Township

Dr. Krystina Khalil, D.O., a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic surgeon, is now seeing surgical patients at offices in Rochester Hills and Shelby Township.

Born and raised in Metro Detroit, Dr. Khalil has returned to the area to provide specialized dermatologic surgical care to her home community. She earned her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and graduate degree from Georgetown University before completing her medical degree at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Khalil completed her dermatology residency at Larkin Community Hospital Palm Springs Campus in South Florida, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. She later pursued advanced fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery at Lehigh Valley Health Network in eastern Pennsylvania.

At the Rochester Hills office, Dr. Khalil offers Mohs micrographic surgery as well as surgical excisions for skin cancer, precancerous and atypical moles, cysts, and lipomas.

At the Shelby Township office, she offers surgical excisions for skin cancer, precancerous and atypical moles, cysts, and lipomas.

Dr. Khalil accepts most major commercial insurance plans and Medicare. Appointments are currently being scheduled for October 2026.
